A few weeks ago I posted a message about having so much trouble finding 5th gear on my "new" 01 Savage w/ 3300 mi. that I was wondering if it's actually a 4 speed. Got back some good replies but was wondering if anyone knows of a shift linkage adjustment that might be in order. I have found that 5th is there, but sometimes it takes two or three shots to get it to go in. As a new rider, its distracting to have to concentrate on whether I'm actually in 5th or not. Other gears are OK, it's just 5th giving me fits. Any ideas?
